The Board

Luxembourg Rosemond

President

I was born and raised on the picturesque island of Port Au Prince, Haiti. I left Haiti in 1994 to migrate to the United States. I obtained an AS degree in Computer Information System in December 2000 at Westchester Community College. In 2002 I went to Lehman College for my bachelor’s degree which I did not complete. I moved to Florida from New York with my lovely wife Soledad in 2004. I am a hard-working family man and a devoted father of two.

I have always had a passion for Real Estate, but I was never able to pursue a career until 2017 I became a realtor. I am a savvy investor and entrepreneur in Real Estate.

More than twenty years ago, God gave me a vision to help the less fortunate those who can not afford to go to school, to have at least one meal a day, or can not receive basic medical care. In 2018 the lord put it in my heart to start a charitable organization. I am passionate about children and know they are the future leaders of tomorrow. As President and founder, my focus is to do the work of the Lord by serving with the team, to make a positive difference in the education and development of the youth with the grace of God.

Julie Nazaire

Vice President

I am a child of immigrants, born and raised in the beautiful sunshine state of Florida. My parents instilled hard work in me which influenced all the decision I’ve made to progress in life. Because of that hard work I was able to accomplish a bachelor’s degree in biology followed by a second bachelor’s in respiratory therapy. As a respiratory therapist I was able to help others in a medical setting which drove me to go back to school and obtain a master’s degree in Anesthesiologist Assistant. To complete this master’s degree it brought me to the buckeye state of Ohio. I am passionate about helping others whether it be medically or emotionally. I have found my purpose in providing care to others.

As a part of Joshua and Elijah Helping Hands Inc, I have so much I would like us to accomplish. Providing support to the youth is the goal I want to reach. I would like to be a role model and help the youth be able to achieve goals and dreams they have of their own. This foundation will provide me the opportunity to be active in the community. I will provide mentorship for those that do not have it at home.

Dieudonne Lecorps

Secretary

Dieudonne Lecorps was born in Haiti where she performed her high school study before moving to the United States.  Her two years study in Travel and Tourism and Office Automation in Rockland College, NY, then in Paralegal in Broward College, Fl, valued her over two years of paralegal work at the Law Office of Abram and Ducheine in Hollywood, FL.  Dieudonne also worked at the University of Florida as a Nutritionist Assistant where she performed as an educator for the low income and socially challenged communities.

She also did an outstanding job for Mega Financial and Investments, a Mortgage Firm where she assisted in handling expenses and salaries.  As a very active comity member of her church, Dieudonne Lecorps is actually assuming many important roles, like Sunday school teaching and handling the Financials.  Finally, her proficiency in computer and her fluency in French, English and Creole will represent a valuable asset for the role of Secretary she is set to occupy in our group; not to mention her constant involvement in the past in supporting little organizations dedicated in sending help to Haiti.

Wesner Daphnis

Treasurer

I was born in the beautiful coastal town of Saint-Marc, Haiti. I migrated to the USA in the early 1990’s. I have been working around the kitchen in the food industry since day one. I climbed the ladder up to Assistant Chef at Traver’s Island of the NYAC. While working in the kitchen I attended New Rochelle High School in the evening where I earned my GED. Eager to advance more in life I attended Westchester Community College where I obtained two degrees: an AAS in Food Service Administration and Dietetics another AS in Business Administration soon after I acquired the credential of DTR (Dietetic Technician Registered with the ADA (American Dietetic Association) now the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

After graduating from College, I obtained a position at Albert Einstein Hospital in the Bronx, NY, where I was fortunate during my tenure to be assigned to every unit where I amassed my clinical experience. There I received a scholarship to further my studies at New York University, but after a couple semesters school had to be put aside so I could prepare for my family to join me in the US. I began working two jobs; one as a Food Service Supervisor in the mornings at Dumont Masonic Home and in the afternoons, I worked at the Bank of New York as a check processor clerk. My wife and my daughter arrived in NY in May of 1998.

A few years ago, I moved to Florida where I worked in several CCRCs such as Harbour’s Edge in Delray Beach, Sinai Residences in Boca Raton and at Edgewater in Boca Raton as Nutrition Services Manager, where the expectations of excellence coincide with my goals and aspirations.

I am thrilled to join this Foundation, which objective is to help as many children in need achieve things that their family may not be able to provide for them. This will be a resource to all children that are less fortunate so their future may be brighter. As a board member I will devote my time and talent as well as participating both physically and financially to accomplish these goals.
